CLNH Conferences
Children's Librarians of New Hampshire (CLNH) hosts and/or collaborates with other NHLA sections to put on two conferences each year.
The CLNH Spring Conference will typically be held in May, and focuses on issues facing children’s librarians, and is always an excellent source of new ideas. The CLNH Children’s Librarian of the Year Award is presented at the Spring Conference, as well as the announcement of the Great Stone Face Award winner and the new nominees for the following year.
The CLNH Fall Conference is usually held on the 3rd Thursday in October. Resources for summer reading programs, book talks or other areas of interest may also be included in the schedule.
The NHLA Spring Conference happens every other year, typically in May. CLNH works closely with other sections of NHLA to provide a variety of presentations and workshops both related to what challenges youth services librarians are facing today and library services as a whole.
The 2024 CLNH Spring Conference was on Tuesday, May 14th at the Common Man in Plymouth, NH.
