The New Hampshire Library Association (NHLA) is seeking nominations for THREE (3) voting positions on the executive board:
Vice President/President Elect (three year commitment)
Secretary (one year commitment)
Treasurer (two year commitment)
Nominees must be current members of NHLA, and enthusiastic about the organization’s mission to promote advocacy, professional development, and communication on a wide range of library-related issues. Serving on the NHLA board is a great way to network with other librarians and to have a positive impact on librarianship outside of your town’s library.
If you are interested in one of the positions, or if you know of someone who would be a good candidate for a position, please respond to this e-mail by July 1st. Elections occur in September/October by ballot, and are announced at the NHLA Fall Conference in November. New board members take their position on the board at the December 17, 2013 meeting.
For more information about the duties of the positions or about the executive board, please read the NHLA constitution and bylaws at http://nhlibrarians.org/about/governance/.
