For those who would like to attend the NHLA Fall Business Meeting on Thursday, November 5th at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside and haven't yet registered, please FAX your registration form to (603)224-5406 and mail your check to the Local Government Center, PO Box 617, Concord, NH 03302.
The last day to register is Friday, October 30th. The registration form can be found on the NHLA website.

Several new kits are soon to be announced, so if you want to be the first to know, you can sign up to receive notices of new postings. Yesterday's post was about a kit title that would make interesting reading for any group meeting this month, plus, there's a link to recipes for treats to serve to your hungry readers.

Here’s your chance to win $500 for your pocket and another $500 for your library! YALSA members are eligible to apply for this award recognizing an outstanding reading or literature program for young adults. If you have created an exceptional reading or literature program in the 12 months before December 1st consider applying for the MAE Award for Best Literature Program for Teens. The MAE Award is sponsored by the Margaret A. Edwards Trust. The winner receives $500 and additional $500 for their library.
