Ladybug Picture Book Award nominations
It's time to start thinking about the 2008 Award! The selection committee welcomes your nominations of picture books that meet the following criteria:
be published within the last three years (2005-2008)
be in print
have either the book's author or illustrator from the US
possess strong child appeal
have artistic quality with text that supports the illustrations
not be a title previously nominated ( this link will take you to the NHU-PAC listings of the previously nominated books)
If you would like to nominate a book that meets the criteria above, please send the following information to Jackie Heath at bpl@worldpath.net: Book Title, Book Author and Illustrator, Copyright Date, Publisher.
All nominations should be sent to Jackie by January 31, 2008.
